Meadow View is the latest new development to open at Queen Mary’s Hospital, Sidcup – part of a £30 million investment programme at the site by Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.
The unit, for patients requiring intermediate care and neuro-rehabilitation. The 34-bed unit is situated on the fourth floor of B block at QMH and replaces the former Reeves and Chislehurst wards.
Meadow View, named by a former patient, is brightly decorated with a gymnasium and day room and offers a homely environment for patients prior to their discharge into the community.
Service at Queen Mary’s Hospital are run by a number of renowned local healthcare organisations. Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust owns the hospital site and services are provided by:
