The Meals at Home service provided by Nottingham City Council offers a range of hot and frozen meals, delivered direct to homes across Nottingham City.
This convenient and flexible service is available to anyone who needs short or long term support with dining at home. This might be during a period of rest and recovery or a more permanent service can be put in place to support independent living.
The service provides much more than meal delivery. Trained staff operate a strict duty of care to customers and have direct access to emergency, social and NHS services. Communication and contingency plans can be put in place with next of kin, family and close contacts and neighbours where necessary to ensure that each resident is comfortable and safe.
Customers can choose from set menus or create their own bespoke weekly menu from a selection of traditional and culturally diverse dishes. For those customers who wish to select their own meal plans, a friendly advisor will arrange a home visit to discuss menus and requirements.
All dietary requirements can be catered for and meals are freshly prepared to meet nutritional guidelines.
The wide range of frozen meals available provides customers with a variety of delicious meals that can easily be prepared in the home. This is a weekly delivery service that can be arranged at a time that suits you.
Hot meals are pre prepared and cooked on route using the latest vehicle technology to ensure each meal is delivered hot and fresh. Each hot meal consists of a main course and dessert served directly to the door.
Deliveries of hot and frozen meals can be added to with additional items such as milk, bread and other popular products.
